A Different Type of Therapy

At Pacific Trauma Treatment Center you will experience a unique therapeutic approach that integrates both Eastern and Western health care practices. 


From the West, cutting edge Evidenced Based Psychology and 

Neuro-Psychology Protocols (those scientifically proven effective) are used to bring about symptom relief as quickly as possible. 


From the East, holistic healing practices are used to help identify and release emotional holding from the body,  build a more positive mindset, increase internal focus and awareness, and balance energy.


This multi-layered approach to treatment strengthens and deepens the healing process, allowing for a more full and transformational experience. 

Trauma Specialty

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a condition which occurs when there is an interruption of the body and mind’s natural healing process. 

Following a trauma, research shows individuals who receive enough emotional, mental and spiritual support to process the trauma will heal. However, when trauma occurs and circumstances do not present the person with enough (or any) time, tools and support to heal, the body and mind cannot resolve the painful experience. 

 

At Pacific Trauma Treatment Center the  Evidenced Based Protocols used in treatment are proven effective in significantly, and often completely, reducing symptoms. These evidenced based modalities incorporate neuro-science techniques that allow the root cause of symptoms to be identified and deeply healed on a brain level. When we heal on a brain level, the physical, emotional, mental and energetic connections to pain and trauma have a chance to actually resolve. 


Additionally, adding Holistic Healing Practices to your healing journey will help you ground, center, and establish a deeper sense of peace and openness.  they can be used to heal on a somatic level, shift your mindset, help boost your immune system and energy levels, and give you effective coping skills to carry with you for any future bumps in the road life throws at you. 

When it comes to healing, what is true about healing  acute trauma is also true about healing Pain Points (Experiences that don't rise to the level of PTSD but were painful and are still effecting you).  Feeling stuck, unhappy, experiencing anxiety, anger issues or any other negative symptom that blocks your ability to feel open and productive indicates something within you is unresolved and in need of healing. The good news? Pain Points are healed in the same way trauma is and resolve even more quickly.  

Our Focus

Our focus will be helping you pinpoint the experiences you have gone through which, for a variety of reasons, have not been fully digested and assimilated. 


These unresolved emotional experiences are the basis for symptoms such as anxiety, depression, irritability, inability to concentrate, and limitations in one’s ability to function and communicate effectively in relationships. 


Initial sessions will focus on identifying the underpinnings of your symptoms. Once identified, you will be led through a process of healing which includes: 


~ Attaining a deeper and more complete understanding of how the experience affected you and how it is connected to your symptoms. 


~ Assistance in healing the unresolved components of the experience on each level effected (physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually). 


~ Guidance in extracting wisdom and insights from the experiences so  sources of pain can be transformed into the strongest and most profound building blocks of knowledge, resilience and sense of purpose you have in your life moving forward.
