I have worked for many years assisting LGBTQ adolescents and adults work through issues of discrimination, family and peer acceptance, relationship issues, issues related to non-identification with the gender they were assigned at birth, and issues of isolation and loneliness.
Healing sessions are offered as a
supplemental service to traditional therapy and help you deeply relax and heal on a physical, emotional, mental and energy level.
At the beginning of our work together, your sessions will be scheduled on a weekly basis and will occur at the same time every week. Basically you will be given a time slot that works with your schedule and mine. This will allow you to work consistently and to progress at a steady rate.
When you or I assesses that you have accomplished your goals and you feel ready to stop weekly sessions, you will be moved to the Maintenance Plan. On the Maintenance Plan you can text me when you wish to drop in for a tune up and I will schedule you as soon as possible during openings in my schedule.
Sessions are available on a cash basis only. Cost is $180 per session.

“Jacqui has been an incredible resource to my emotional recovery. Her specialized approach to childhood trauma has helped heal deep wounds from the past; wounds that have stunted emotional progress in most areas of my life. Her experience both, personally and professionally, has helped me clear the cobwebs of old triggers and has helped me access a keen awareness around my behavior during emotionally charged situations. I'm gently learning how to take a beat, and react proportionally to those around me. I'm really grateful for the work we've done together. I feel like the burdens from my past have been lifted.“
“If you are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced therapist with a great sense of humor, than Jacqui is the therapist for you. I was looking for a couples therapist to help my husband and I out with a few kinks in our marriage. I was excited to find out that she was not only a couples therapist, but she also specialized in traumatic experiences. I had been to a different therapist a couple years prior to help me with a traumatic experience. That therapist failed to help me through my trauma and pain. Having had a bad first experience with a therapist, I was hopeful, but wasn't sure what to expect from our therapy with Jacqui. Since our first meeting with her back in November, Jacqui has helped guide our marriage into a successful partnership, and has also brought new things to life for me. She helped me through a very difficult and traumatic experience with Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I have to be honest, I was skeptical about the therapy and didn't expect it to be as successful as it was. It has been an amazing experience and I now feel like I'm finally living my life as I should have. My anxiety, since the therapy, has reduced significantly. There are still a few things to work on with her, but I feel like our time with her is coming close to an end, which makes me sad because we truly enjoy our meetings with her.”
“Jacqui is amazing at what she does. She is thoughtful, caring, intuitive, gives tough love as needed, and is a total badass. She used a holistic approach that helped me recover from past traumas in a way that I never thought was possible. I wasn't sure what to expect from therapy. I'd had a few bad experiences before, when therapists chalked my issues up to poor sleeping habits or I just didn't feel comfortable opening up to them. With Jacqui, it was different. She listened and asked questions that made me take a good hard look at my thoughts/feelings that had been pushed away to a dark corner for years. She made me feel safe, which was so important to the work.
When our sessions started bringing up harder emotions and affected other areas of my life, she recommended that I use Bach flower essences. I feel like they really made a difference. Near the end of our sessions, Jacqui recommended that I participate in an IMPACT Personal Safety class. Taking this class ended up being pivotal to my healing process. To this day, I often think about the things we talked about and the things I discovered about myself from her sessions. Thank you, Jacqui, for helping me unleash my inner badass.“
“I've known about Jacqui Woods for about 20 years, not as a therapist, but as someone who works within the healing arts. She came highly recommended by my best friend as someone who could work with a person's body, mind, & energy to help them move past barriers they were struggling with. So when I hit a block in my effort to completely change what I do for a living, I decided to work with her for a series of sessions.“
“It's been a few months now and so far what I've gotten out of it was much, much more than I could have expected. She is amazing - nothing is rote or out of a book. She not only took the time to understand where I was coming from, but she is really very perceptive. She really hears what I have to say. I can't explain it really, but when I'm telling her what I'm feeling, she'll sometimes sum it up for me so succinctly and more clearly than I can articulate and it sort of stops me for a minute. Her perception and grasp on things is really, really good. And she has a way of reflecting it back to me that feels, well....so spot on. Sometimes when she says something to me, I can't believe she sees me that clearly. She knows how to say the hard thing at just the right time that triggers realization of something you keep missing.”
“As a Veteran with service-connected Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) I highly recommend Jacqueline to service members. I truly felt that PTSD would always be a part of my life and no amount of therapy would be able to help, I was proven wrong. Thanks to (Jacqui) I have been able to heal and I have been able to once again enjoy my life. (Jacqui) has exceptional intuition and she helped guide me through a very difficult process. From week to week, I could feel how I was freeing myself of the emotional fetters that bound me to the past; moreover, I was able to learn the techniques necessary to maintain this progress on my own. One of the things that made me comfortable in this process was that (Jacqui) had a plan for this journey in healing--as a veteran I appreciated that aspect.”
“Our family unexpectedly entered a crisis period and aftermath with our son's attempted suicide. We (parents, son, daughter) met with her over four months for family therapy and found it very helpful. We all learned to raise and discuss issues in a supportive atmosphere with someone who is an experienced therapist and an empathic and non-judgmental person. Jacqui proved expert at helping us to understand our issues, setbacks, and strengths.”
